Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SueInChina — the China-side civil & commercial litigation team of Beijing Hengdu (Chongqing) Law Firm — collects, uses, and safeguards the information you submit through this website. It applies to every visitor and to anyone who uses our free case-review form. You can contact us with questions about these practices.
1. Who we are
We are the cross-border dispute-resolution team of Beijing Hengdu (Chongqing) Law Firm, a PRC-licensed law firm headquartered in Beijing with an office in Chongqing, China. You can reach our intake team at sevenjan666@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect what you choose to send us: your name, company, country, work email, WhatsApp/phone number, and the details of your dispute (provided through the free case-review form). We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information through this site.
3. How we use your information
We use your information solely to (a) respond to your inquiry and assess your matter, (b) schedule a consultation, and (c) comply with our professional and legal obligations. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship; one is formed only by a signed engagement agreement.
4. Legal basis by jurisdiction
Depending on where you are located, we process the information you submit with your consent (for example, to reply to your request) and as necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an engagement. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
5. International data transfers
Because our firm is based in China, information you submit may be processed and stored on servers in the People's Republic of China. For the rights of PRC data subjects we comply with the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL). If you are located in the EEA or UK, please note that your data may be transferred outside your region; by submitting the form you acknowledge this transfer.
6. Third-party processors
Form submissions are transmitted through our own secure backend hosted on our servers. Our intake email uses Gmail, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for abuse. This site also uses Google Fonts to render text. We do not sell or share your information with advertising networks.
7. Data retention
We retain inquiry information only as long as needed to evaluate and progress your matter, to comply with professional-records requirements, and to meet legal obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email sevenjan666@gmail.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Cookies and analytics
We count page views, contact clicks, form starts, errors, and accepted inquiries on our own server. Event records contain only the date, event, public page path, and a broad source category (such as Google or direct); they do not contain names, email addresses, case descriptions, full referrer URLs, or visitor IDs. Browser session storage remembers the first page and source category for this tab and is cleared when the tab session ends. These source details accompany an inquiry you submit. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for optional event collection. Normal security logs and anti-spam checks may process IP addresses. We do not use advertising cookies or sell tracking data.
10. Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date above shows when it was last revised.
